Software Trainings

This sample software training demonstrates multiple ways that learners can interact with the software when learning a new skill.

Project: PowerPoint Training Tip

Overview: I created this module as part of presentation for small business owners. The goal was to demonstrate how a software training can be structured as a video to watch, a click by click demonstration, an opportunity to try it as a learner and finally a test. For content, I decided to share a PowerPoint trick that you could use when sending or sharing a presentation to clients.

Learning Theory: This module uses a behaviorist approach to learning. From an andragogy perspective, I considered Knowles Learning Theory and focused on the principals of self-content (learners can navigate to one of the four portions of the course that most interests them), readiness to learn (this is topic that was suggested as an issue by a small business owner), and motivation to learn.

Intended Audience: Potential Clients, B2B and SP Businesses

Tools: Storyline 360, PowerPoint, Vyond
